Video Poker

The object of video poker is to obtain a five-card poker hand that contains a winning combination (see Video Poker Variants). The better your hand, the bigger the payout. You choose how many and which of your cards are to be replaced. You may replace your cards only once (in 4-Line Video Poker you have 4 separate hands).

To play the game:

• Insert coins by clicking on chips right of the machine. Each click increases your credit.
  
  
• Choose the value of the coins you wish to wager each round, by clicking on a coin left of the machine. Available options are: £0.25, £1, or £5.
  
  
• Click Bet One or Bet Max to select the number of coins you wish to wager. Each click on the Bet One button increases your bet by the value of the coin you selected. Pressing Bet Max will increase your bet to the maximum amount possible – that is five coins – and deal the cards automatically.
  
  
• Click Deal (if you did not press Bet Max).
  
  
• Choose which cards you wish to keep by pressing the Hold button underneath the card, or by clicking on the card itself.
  
  
• Click Deal to replace the cards that you did not choose to hold.

Doubling:

If you end up with a winning hand, you can accept the winning (press Collect), or you have the option to double it. Should you choose to double, the dealer draws an open card and you are given 4 unexposed cards to choose between. If you choose a card that is lower than the dealer's, you lose your original winning. If the cards are equal, it is a tie, and you have the option to collect your original winnings (press Collect) or double again. If your card is higher, you win double the amount of your original winnings. You then have the option to collect your winnings or double even further.

You can also choose to Half Double, which means you only double for a half of your winning amount. You cannot double, if your winning amount exceeds £2000.

Winnings are displayed in a table similar to the example shown here (on the top panel of each machine, on some machines you have to click the Paytable button to see the winning table):

Winning tables display the winning amounts for a £1 coin (the five columns represent the number of coins wagered). If you are playing with a £5 coin, multiply the sum displayed in the winning table by 5; if you are playing with a £0.25 coin, divide it by four.

We offer several kinds of Video Poker. The differences are only in the winning tables – in different games, different winning amounts are offered for different combinations. 

Some of the words and jargon used in poker are explained here:

Pair – two cards of the same kind, e.g. two Queens.

Tens or Better – a pair of 10-s or of higher cards Thus two 4-s do not qualify as a winning combination, while two Jacks do.

Jacks or Better – a pair of Jacks or of higher cards. Thus two 4-s do not qualify as a winning combination, while two Jacks do.

Three of a kind – three cards of the same kind, e.g. three 7-s.

Two Pair – two pairs, e.g. two Queens and two 5-s.

Straight – five consequtive cards, e.g. 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack and Queen

Flush – five cards of the same suit, e.g. 7 of Hearts, 9 of Hearts, 10 of Hearts, Queen of Hearts and Ace of Hearts.

Full House – a five cards hand consisting of a Pair and Three of a Kind, e. g. two 10-s and three 7-s.

Four of a Kind – four cards of the same kind, e.g. four Kings.

Straight Flush – five consequtive cards of the same suit, e.g. 4 of Spades, 5 of Spades, 6 of Spades, 7 of Spades and 8 of Spades.

Royal Flush – five consequtive cards of the same suit, from 10 to Ace, e.g. 10 of Diamonds, Jack of Diamonds, Queen of Diamonds, King of Diamonds and Ace of Diamonds.

Some notes:

• In Deuces Wild, the deuces are wild (meaning a deuce stands for any card) – hence the name.
  
  
• In Joker Poker, the Jokers are wild.
  
  
• In MegaJacks Progressive Video Poker, there is a progressive jackpot, meaning that a certain percentage of each bet you make, is added to the progressive jackpot pool. You win the jackpot, if you are playing for max bet and get the royal flush. The current size of the jackpot is displayed on the scrollbar near the top edge of the machine.
  
  
• In 4-Line Video Poker, the bet you make is multiplied by 4, one per each line. If you win on multiple lines simultaneously, your winnings are added up.
  
  
• The object of 2 Ways Royal Video Poker is to obtain a five-card poker hand that contains a winning combination (see the paytable on the machine). The better your hand, the bigger the payout. You choose how many and which of your cards are to be replaced. You may replace your cards only once.
  Note: in 2 Ways Royal, a combination of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of the same suit is called the Lo Royal Flush. 10, J, Q, K, A of the same suit is called the Hi Royal Flush.

Some Bonus Slots have a progressive jackpot as well. Progressive Jackpot size is displayed on a red scrollbar. A certain percentage of every bet you make goes to the progressive jackpot pool. You win the jackpot if you get three highest rank symbols along the payline, while playing for max bet.

About the winning tables:

The tables show a certain number for every hit amount for every symbol. If you have four symbols in a row starting on the leftmost reel (that is three hits), read the number on the line “Four” or “XXXX” and in the column under that symbol. Multiply your line bet by that number and you get the winning amount. If you have winning combinations on multiple lines, add them all up to get the winning amount. The symbols have to lie consequtively, starting from the leftmost reel, to qualify as hits.

Keno is an ancient Chinese lottery-type game. It’s playful ease has earned it significant popularity worldwide.

• First, select at least 3 and up to 10 numbers on the Keno table by clicking on them. If you change your mind and want to deselect a number, just click on it again. To deselect all the numbers and start again, click on the Clear button.
  
  
• While you select the numbers, you can see the winnings table on the left. The winnings depend on how many numbers you select. The table shows how much money you win (the Payouts column) for any amount of correct numbers (the Hits column).
  
  
• Now you have the option to play for one round only (select Play One) or to play a five-round series (select Play Five). Each round costs £1 – so a one-round game costs £1 and the five-round series costs £5.
  
  
• When you select one of the Play buttons, 20 numbers are drawn. If you have a sufficient amount of hits (winning numbers) you are paid winnings according to the winnings table. If you are playing the five-round series, you can see your last results in the results table on the right.

Megaball lets you place various types of bets. 6 balls are drawn every minute to see which bets win and which do not.

• On the left, you have a choice of games - available bets that you can place. Click any of them, and follow the instructions on the screen. You can place a bet for one draw, or choose a number of repetitions.
  
  
• In the center, there is a table that displays your active bets. Click on a bet to modify or delete it.
  
  
• On the upper edge of the screen there is a clock showing time left until the start of the next draw. During the last 10 seconds, you cannot place a bet (there is no Confirm button on the Bet Screen). In that case wait about 10 seconds, until the Confirm button reappears. You can then place a bet for the next draw.
